Hi! Daan!

I can remember my young days in our house in Enfield. The front garden of flower beds and the backyard with the patchy lawn and the small dirt patch with the thin rows of turned dirt which was planted with several types of vegetables.

There was no mention of global warming in those days.

Beautiful musings thankyou Daan,
& when I say beautiful I mean I remember my Grandfathers organic garden in our back yard, & the chooks, & Grandmas breads & soups, & now I have Woolworths or the Rocklea Markets (which are great!)
& yes I worry a little about Global warming & it's effects,
but I think we really are all VERY smart, & we will adapt & change & cope.
I'm currently sharing my home with 7 people from 'the Mumbai slums' (from Hyderabad actually) & have helped lift them to an appreciation of our standards of building & hygiene, ETC,
so I feel I've done something towards my bit to prevent the world Lucy talks about.
As you say - we CAN all do something to prevent a Catastrophe, especially the bits we CAUSE! (& apparently that's MOST!)
& I think we all know inherently what those bits are if we sit quietly & THINK for a minute or two
& talk about it as you do Daan
THANK YOU
