Hello Daan,
We met today at the vegetarian cafe and it was delightful to hear your thoughts on food especially a2 milk. I have read your review and shall try my best to pass it on to as many people as I can. The book that has inspired and help my children the most is 'Gut and Psychology Sydrome' by Dr Natasha Campbell McBride MD. It explores how poor gut function seriously impacts physical health and how certain proteins can travel through the blood brain barrier to cause learning/behavior problems and pschological symptoms.
It would be greatly appreciated to read your thoughts regarding this book.
My son at three weeks presented with blood in his stools and terrible pain and reflux. Diagnosis milk protein allergy ( infantile colitis) and was advised to use the royal albert hospital elimination diet and avoidance of dairy. I soon realized milk protein as well as other substances in my breast milk were making my child not thrive. Same thing happen to my second child even though I was off diary for pregnancy.
The medical doctors answer was formula feed special formula Neocate based on free amino acids. Yet their pain and bowel function were still very dysfunctional. Until, I follow the helpful dietary advise of dr Campbell McBride. My children are now having soft regular bowel motions, not getting sick, gaining weight and sleeping much more!
Thanks for your time today

Thank you for the comments. The 'From the World' posts are unsolicited pieces from readers of the main blog. It's an opportunity for others to get their work out there. I started my readership going by emailing out on my address book. From there it's grown slowly through word of mouth.

Daan,

It appears you started this blog about the same time I started mine. I enjoyed exploring your site and reading your posts. I'm wondering how you do the "from the world" posts. Do you select from blogs you like or do you let people submit them? I'm also curious how your readership is developing. Mine seems to be slow. If you have time to comment, I would appreciate it. Please feel free to check out my site and let me know what you think.

Good luck with your blog!
